Laser rifle is fine, trust me. I melted sentinel Ak.0 With the viziam. As for the shield buffs, I'm all for it. I actually really like caldari tech, it needs some love

Since allmost nobody touches it it should get a buff.
The thing is,it has a very different play style compared to other weapons out there. It is almost always only suited for long range fighting. It has lower damage at close range further more it has no dispersion. Another niche weapon you can compare to it is the plasma rifle. But why does it get more love you ask? simply put it has extremely high damage and has aoe which can be used at CQC while like i said before the LR has no dispersion and low damage initially. Where the LR shines is supression, it is mostly for pushing back the opposition meaning all you will be getting are kill assists mostly. People don't like this,they want kills and this is one more reason why this gun is unpopular. When not many people use it,it doesnt always mean the weapon is underpowered. Lets take another Amarrian tech as an example,the scrambler rifle before the AScR buff, not many people use this weapon long before. Mostly its was the rail rifle but that didnt mean the ScR was weak, oh no, back then you will see people crying that the Viziam killed them but were overshadowed by the "NERF RR PLS" threads.
Long story short, Laser rifles are deadly at the right hands. The Viktor NEG-1 can kill steal a tank with low enough health
